Representing the B+ Foundation,MMMChris and Ali have been selected as one of 10 finalists for the Philadelphia Eagles Football Community Quarterback Award.   At a dinner at the NovaCare Complex, it was announced that The B+ Foundation was a runner-up out of 100 nominations and will receive $11,000!

The Philadelphia Phillies Charities, InMMMc. has selected The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation as one of the recipients of their 2009 community grants.  YOUR Foundation will receive $5,000 from the Phillies!                      Phillies Article 

 

$250,000 research grant presented to Nemours Center for Childhood Cancer Research (NCCCR).  ABCTV Philadelphia covered the ceremony at AIDuPont Hospital, and WHYY TV aired a wonderful piece that you can view here.

Andrew will be honored on a brick in a memorial at the Soccer Hall of Fame in Oneonta, NY.  In addition, the National Soccer Team Players Association has partnered with the B+ Foundation and has also honored Andrew on their website in a program called "Time In" that recognizes children who have battled leukemia.  Visit the site and comment.

MMMThe B+ Foundation is proud to partner with MLS W.O.R.K.S., Major League Soccer's community outreach program, not only because MLS will bring national awareness to our Foundation, but because Andrew often dreamed about playing in MLS. Press Release 

 

Students at University of Delaware held a dance marathon -- UDance -- to benefit pediatric aids and the B+ Foundation.  The school's newspaper, The Review, carried two great articles about UDance and The B+ Foundation with quotes from Joe and Ali.  Article 1.  Article 2.

Joe spoke briefly at a dance party hosted by Meghan and Christina des Groseilliers to benefit the B+ Foundation.  The event was featured on NBC10 News.
